Rides

Weekend team rides are a staple of Team Oregon. This is where we meet other teammates, gain fitness, make friends, boost egos and make memories. We offer regular ‘no drop’ team rides year round and occasional Sunday category specific rides. If you are interested in joining the team, come out to a ride and meet us.  Rides will be posted to the calendar below and we hope to see you out there!

Fitness:  Team rides are a great opportunity for training miles and a certain level of fitness is expected to provide a worthwhile experience for the entire group.  Average speeds on a typical 50 mile ride are around 19-22 mph, which would include climbs of 7-9% and rolling to flat terrain.

Rides begin on time so please arrive with plenty of time to get your gear ready. If it’s raining or wet roads, please have fenders and full mudflap. Come prepared! Tube, toolkit, and pump is suggested. Ensure your bike is ready to roll too! 2 Bottles and plenty of food for the journey is highly recommended, however on longer or hot rides we will stop for water/food.
