Race Promotion
Team Oregon is proud help promote racing in Oregon each year. The events in our sport are created by fellow cyclists. It is our responsibility to promote the events we would like to see happen each year. For 2010 we will be promoting the following events.
- Monday Night PIR
- Possible a Team Time Trial a few weeks before the state TTT champs race.
- Cirque de Cycling Criterium. This is a great criterium course in Northeast Portland on Saturday June 13th. Team Oregon is not the official promoter of this race, however we are planning to support it with volunteers from the team as one of our 2010 goals. 2008 was the first year for this event and it was a smashing success with all sorts of drama and excitement. We hope to see this race become a fixture on the calendar every year.
